The Bango Wind Farm, located about 30 kilometers north of Yass in New South Wales, is a significant renewable energy project developed by Squadron Energy. It features 46 turbines and is capable of generating enough electricity to power 144,000 homes, preventing 543,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. The wind farm is also part of a broader initiative to support Australia’s renewable energy targets.
Milleen delivered the construction of a new harmonic filter bay adjacent to the associated substation for the wind farm. Scope included Bulk earthworks, foundations, civil services and security fencing.
