Overview
Milleen Constructions was engaged to deliver the specialist civil and foundation works for the new Train Load Out (TLO) facility at the Mt Pleasant coal mine in the Hunter Valley. This critical infrastructure supports the efficient transfer of coal from mine to rail, requiring precision piling and heavy-duty reinforced concrete works.
Scope of Works
- Installation of large-diameter bored piles to support the TLO structure
- Excavation, formwork, reinforcement, and placement of reinforced concrete foundations and retaining walls
- Delivery of complex reinforcement cages for deep foundations
- Integration of piling and structural concrete packages under strict safety and quality requirements
- Coordination with rail and mining operations to meet project timelines
Outcome
